Dental Nurse

Amy returned to Croydon House in the summer of 2008 after leaving us in 2007 to experience dental nursing in a city environment. Amy has been dental nursing for over eight years, she is trained to assist in dental sedation, and can also assist with various dental implant systems. Amy also works at our sister practice, Riverview in Totnes. Amy has excellent patient care skills.

Emily Wells

Emily Wells RDN

Dental Nurse

Emily joined our team in January 2008 whilst working towards her national certificate in dental nursing, which she passed in July 2009. Emily has become a vital member of the team, and is trained to assist Dr Badiani with dental implants. Emily works very closely with Dr Pickering and the surgical specialists. Emily is our trained emergency first aider and is currently training for her radiography qualification.

Sarah Paine

Trainee Dental Nurse/Receptionist

Sarah joined Croydon House as a receptionist in December 2008 after working in child care. Sarah completed her dental nurse qualification in July 2010 so her skills are used throughout the practice. Sarah is bubbly and bright, a friendly face to see when entering the practice. Sarah also works at our sister practice, Quality Dental Care in Bovey Tracey.

Jo Holt

Dental Nurse/Receptionist

Jo joined our team in the summer of 2009 after moving to the Westcountry. Jo is radiography trained and has over 10 years experience in dental nursing, she has a lovely manner with patients.

Jacqueline Kareh

Holistic Health Practitioner

Born near Cambridge, Jacqueline trained and worked as a general and psychiatric nurse in Edinburgh. After an extended period traveling and working her way around the world, Jacqueline settled in Germany for almost 15 years and developed her work there.

For almost thirty years she has studied and practiced a wide range of therapy forms, energy work, healing and complementary medicine, as well as nutrition and holistic lifestyle counseling. She brings all these skills and techniques into her work as appropriate.

Practice Manager

Amanda has been part of our team since 2006. She joined the practice as a part time receptionist and aromatherapist. She has been involved with all aspects of the practice, proved to be a huge asset to the team, and working closely alongside Liz her clear dedication earned her the promotion to Practice Manager at the end of 2008. Amanda is currently studying for an NVQ in management after completing a team leading management in 2009. Amanda encourages all team members to fulfil their potential by continuous personal development, all team members also take CPR (emergency life support) training annually.
